Sebco scalp ointment, 100 g. Used for scalp conditions that cause dry, scaly skin, including dandruff, eczema, seborrhoeic dermatitis and psoriasis.

Contains coal tar solution, sulphur and salicylic acid in a coconut oil base to help soften and remove scalp scale.

Directions for use

Always read and follow the leaflet supplied with your pack. For adults, children over 12 years and the elderly: part the hair and apply a thin ribbon to affected scalp areas, avoiding the eyes. Gently rub in and leave for approximately one hour before removing by showering or rinsing with warm water. Wash your hands immediately after application.

The existing directions specify daily use for three to seven days initially, then once or twice a week as required. Follow the supplied leaflet or your clinician's instructions.

Important precautions

• Children aged 6–12: use under medical supervision only.
• Not recommended for children under 6.
• Avoid contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of cold tap water.
• Consult your doctor if there is no improvement after the first week or symptoms persist after four weeks.
