Usage and precautions

Follow Abbott's supplied instructions for application, activation, warm-up, wear, water exposure, replacement and disposal. The sensor is for single-patient, single-use only. Do not reuse or attempt to reinsert it. Follow the manufacturer's guidance if it becomes loose.

Confirm readings with a blood glucose test when required by the manufacturer, including when symptoms do not match the reading. Consult your healthcare team about rapid glucose changes, pregnancy, breastfeeding, high-dose vitamin C or other conditions that may affect readings.

Discontinue use and seek advice if you experience skin irritation, infection or repeated unexpected results. Keep away from children and seek immediate medical advice if accidentally ingested.

Before MRI, CT, X-ray or other diagnostic or therapeutic procedures, tell the clinical team you are wearing a sensor and follow the exact product instructions and their advice.
